WHERE LEADERSHIP MEETS
INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE
The Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association (AECA) is led by elected officers and a Board of Directors dedicated to guiding the organization’s mission and representing the interests of Georgia’s electrical contracting community. AECA’s officer positions include:
- Chairman of the Board
- President
- Secretary/Treasurer
- Governor
The Board of Directors is composed of nine members, including all officers. All officers and directors are elected by the AECA membership and must be active members of the Association. Each serves a two-year term or until a successor is elected.

ELECTIONS & APPOINTMENTS
A Nominating Committee—appointed by the President before the September Board meeting—prepares the annual slate of candidates. Elections take place by ballot before or during the October meeting. If a vacancy occurs due to resignation or an unexpired term, the Board of Directors may appoint a qualified member in good standing to fill the position.
COMMITTEES
Members of the Board of Directors also serve on committees that support AECA’s mission, ensure compliance, and maintain strong industry relationships. Committees include:
